Sinus Lift Demonstrations

Course Description:
This Participation course is designed for dentists who wish to place and restore dental implants. In the first half of the course, doctors will learn the prosthetic of implant dentistry. Doctors will learn the components for over-dentures, single implant crowns, and implant bridge. Impressions will be taken on models and implant abutment preparation will be practiced. Diagnosis and treatment planning will be discussed in detail in conjunction with implant selection.

In the Second half of the course, treatment of non-ideal sites will be addressed. Graft Materials, membranes, sutures, bone, and sinus manipulation will be covered. Doctors will learn about the maxilla and mandible anatomy. There will also be an in depth discussion on surgical principle and introduction of the Nobel Replace Tapered Implant System. Doctors will perform implant surgery on pig jaws, practice augmentation and suturing. Also, there will be two live surgery demonstrations by Dr. Chen.

At the conclusion of this course each doctor should be able to identify implant candidates, treatment planning, and have an in depth understanding of implant surgery and restoration.
